Welcome to the School of Bodywork’s Deep Tissue & Advanced Techniques workshop.
You are probably here because you feel ready to expand your practice, bring greater depth to your work and continue growing as a therapist. We hope this course will give you fresh techniques, increased confidence and a deeper understanding of advanced bodywork over the two practical days.
This workshop provides a strong foundation for more advanced work. While you will leave with plenty of new skills and knowledge, there is always more to discover - particularly when supporting clients with specific conditions. If you would like to explore this work in greater detail after this workshop, we highly recommend you join us on our Functional Body Series of workshops. You can work through these at your own pace, whenever you feel ready - or, as is often the case, when a particular client inspires you to begin a new journey of discovery on a certain area of the body!
Your tutor for this course is Ruth Bell, who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in remedial bodywork and movement. Ruth takes a whole-body approach to everything she does, and her enthusiasm is infectious.
Please take the time to work through the online content before attending the practical sessions. Developing a theoretical understanding in advance will help you get the most from the hands-on learning. Don’t worry if everything doesn’t make complete sense just yet - the in-class sessions are designed to bring it all together.
