Introduction to Massage Workshop
Introduction to Massage Workshop
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to learn massage? Perhaps you are thinking about a career change, looking for a new hobby, or simply want to help family and friends feel more comfortable and relaxed. Whatever your reason, our one-day Introduction to Massage Workshop offers a welcoming and enjoyable first step into the world of therapeutic touch.
Massage is about much more than learning a series of techniques – it is about communication, connection and developing the confidence to use your hands in a thoughtful and effective way. In just one day, you will begin to understand how simple touch can help promote relaxation, reduce tension and support wellbeing.
This practical workshop is designed for complete beginners, with no previous experience required. You will be guided through a range of fundamental massage techniques in a friendly and supportive environment, giving you the opportunity to experience massage from both the therapist’s and recipient’s perspective.
If you have ever considered training professionally, this workshop also provides an ideal introduction to the School of Bodywork and our teaching style. Many of our students first joined us for this course before progressing onto our Level 3 Diploma in Therapeutic Massage and embarking on rewarding careers in bodywork.
Whether you leave with some new skills to use at home or a newfound passion for becoming a massage therapist, we hope this inspiring day will leave you feeling confident, curious and eager to learn more.
