Completing your Fascial Bodywork or Myofascial Release Diploma is just the beginning of your journey. One of the challenges many therapists face after qualifying is finding opportunities to continue practising with like-minded colleagues, receive treatments themselves and ask the questions that naturally arise once techniques are being used in everyday practice.
Our Fascial Bodywork Supervision Day has been created to provide exactly that. This relaxed and supportive day brings together graduates of our Fascial Bodywork Diploma (or formerly the Myofascial Release Diploma) for a full day of supervised practice, treatment exchange, discussion and professional development.
The day begins with a supervised treatment exchange, giving you the opportunity to both give and receive a full Fascial Bodywork/Myofascial Release treatment while having Louise available throughout to answer questions, offer guidance and help refine your clinical reasoning and practical skills.
The afternoon then moves into an informal supervision session, where we explore real clinical cases, discuss challenges, review techniques and learn from one another’s experiences.
Whether you want to refresh your skills, gain confidence with particular techniques, receive a treatment yourself or simply reconnect with fellow graduates, this day offers a welcoming, relaxed space to continue developing long after the Diploma has finished.

Learning doesn’t stop when your Diploma ends.
Once you begin using Fascial Bodywork regularly in clinic, different questions naturally arise. You encounter clients who challenge your thinking, techniques evolve and your own individual way of working begins to develop. Having somewhere to bring those questions and experiences can be incredibly valuable.
These supervision days offer an opportunity to return to the School, work alongside other graduates and have Louise available to support your continuing development.
They are also an important opportunity to receive rather than always being the therapist – something that can easily be neglected when you are busy looking after everyone else!
Most importantly, this is a relaxed, collaborative day. It isn’t about being assessed or having your work judged. It is about continuing to learn, remaining curious and supporting one another as your practice develops.
Course overview
The day combines supervised practical work, treatment exchange, clinical supervision and peer support.
During the first part of the day, you will be paired with another graduate and exchange full Fascial Bodywork treatments. Louise will be available throughout to answer questions, offer guidance and help you explore or refine techniques where appropriate.
The remainder of the day moves into a more informal supervision format, where we can discuss clinical cases, treatment approaches and any questions or challenges that have arisen within your practice.
There will also be opportunities to revisit techniques and explore areas that the group would particularly like to review.

Your Fascial Bodywork training doesn’t need to end when you receive your Diploma. Clinical experience brings a completely different kind of learning – and often a completely new set of questions.
The Fascial Bodywork Supervision Day gives you somewhere to bring those questions, revisit your skills, learn from other therapists and continue developing your own approach. And, importantly, it gives you the chance to get back on the couch and receive a full treatment yourself.

Course syllabus
Every supervision day will be slightly different because the content will be shaped by the therapists attending and the questions and experiences they bring.
The day will include:
- A full Fascial Bodywork treatment exchange.
- Supervised hands-on practice.
- Individual guidance and feedback where wanted.
- Opportunities to revisit and refine techniques.
- Clinical case discussion.
- Treatment planning and clinical reasoning.
- Exploring challenging or interesting client presentations.
- Peer support and shared learning.
- Time for questions arising from your own practice.
- Reconnecting with fellow Fascial Bodywork graduates.
The emphasis is on reflective, collaborative learning and discussion rather than following a fixed teaching syllabus.
Entry requirements
This day is exclusively for graduates of the School of Bodywork Fascial Bodywork Practitioner Diploma, or our former Myofascial Release Diploma.
Whether you qualified recently or several years ago, you are very welcome to join us.
Course Format
This is a relaxed and practical one-day supervision event, running from:
10:00 am – 4:00 pm
The day includes a supervised treatment exchange alongside group supervision, case discussion, peer support and technique review.
There will also be time to enjoy lunch together and reconnect informally with other graduates.
Assessments
There is no formal assessment. This is a supportive supervision and continuing professional development day, with the emphasis on reflective practice, shared learning and developing your confidence as a practitioner.
Qualification & Accreditation
No additional qualification is awarded.
The Fascial Bodywork Supervision Day is designed as ongoing professional development and supervision for therapists who have already completed their Fascial Bodywork training with the School of Bodywork. You will receive certificate of attendance to submit as CPD.

Do I need to have completed the Fascial Bodywork Diploma with the School of Bodywork?
Yes. These days are specifically designed as ongoing supervision for graduates of our Fascial Bodywork Practitioner Diploma, including those who completed the course when it was called the Myofascial Release Diploma.
Will I definitely receive a full treatment?
Yes. A key part of the day is the treatment exchange, so you will have the opportunity to both give and receive a full Fascial Bodywork treatment.
Will Louise watch my treatment?
Louise will be available throughout the practical session to offer guidance, answer questions and help you explore anything you are unsure about. This isn’t an assessment, though, and the atmosphere is intended to be fun, supportive and relaxed.
Can I bring a client case I would like to discuss?
Absolutely. This is exactly what the supervision element is for. You are encouraged to bring questions, interesting cases or situations you have found challenging in your own practice so that we can explore them together.
I completed my Diploma several years ago. Can I still come?
Yes. The day is equally suitable whether you have only recently completed your training or have been practising Fascial Bodywork/Myofascial Release for several years.
You may find it particularly valuable if you haven’t used some of the techniques for a while and would like an opportunity to refresh your skills.

Tutor / Tutors
Louise Mockford
Louise is the Director of the School of Bodywork and tutor of the Fascial Bodywork Practitioner Diploma.
These supervision days provide an opportunity to continue working with Louise after completing your Diploma, bringing back the questions, experiences and challenges that inevitably arise once you begin applying Fascial Bodywork within your own clinical practice.
Rather than providing all the answers, Louise encourages discussion, curiosity and the development of your own clinical reasoning and individual way of working.
She will be available throughout the day to supervise practical work, revisit techniques, discuss cases and support you as your Fascial Bodywork practice continues to evolve.
