I want to express my deep gratitude to the School of Bodywork and their Indian Head Massage course with an exceptional tutor. This experience has been truly transformative.

Our tutor, Lisa, was not only highly skilled but also incredibly passionate about Indian Head Massage. The course struck the perfect balance between theory and hands-on practice, thanks to the School of Bodywork's well-structured curriculum.

Thanks to the School of Bodywork and this outstanding tutor, I now feel fully equipped for a career in Indian Head Massage. If you're considering such a journey, I highly recommend this course. It's been an incredibly enriching experience, and I'm excited to carry this newfound expertise forward in my career.

Indian Head Massage was brought to England in the 1970s and soon became a popular treatment. There are many variations of technique and style, but as always here at the School of Bodywork we approach the subject holistically much like the Ayurvedic system it originates from, focusing on the Marma points and Chakras as well as the application of traditional techniques with a whole body awareness for both the therapist and the client.

Indian Head Massage is a very effective, portable, adaptable and fuss free treatment; there is no need for special equipment, it can be performed fully clothed, and extended or shortened to include more or less of the body and head so you can perform it just about anywhere!

Although Indian Head Massage is only a part-body massage it represents a de-stressing programme for the whole body, as you will experience for yourselves! The potential benefits are widespread many feel as if their whole body is balanced after treatment but it is particularly effective for stress, inability to relax and overthinking.
