Transform your approach to bodywork and support your clients on a deeper level
Why Train in Fascial Bodywork?
Fascia is no longer seen as just a ‘wrapping’ around the muscles—it is now understood as a continuous, dynamic communication network that affects every aspect of our structure and function. When fascia becomes restricted due to physical trauma, inflammation, emotional holding, or habitual movement patterns, it can contribute to both acute and chronic pain.
Through this Diploma (formerly the Myofascial Release Diploma), you will learn gentle yet incredibly effective hands-on techniques that support the body in shifting ingrained patterns, restoring functional movement, and inviting greater ease and spaciousness. This work is about listening, waiting, and responding—facilitating a process in which the body can reorganise itself and move towards balance.
We will also explore the latest research and understanding of the fascial system; how we are formed at the very beginning from a single cell that multiplies and folds into someone truly unique, and how with this understanding, the traditional biomechanical models which we have all followed for the last 400 years need to be updated —helping you develop a more integrated and holistic view of the body.
Learn from a Passionate and Experienced Tutor
Louise has many years of experience working with the fascial system in many ways and brings this to the Diploma course—sharing with you both what she has learned from different myofascial release methods, as well as her own insights and clinical experiences from working with horses as well as humans. She is passionate about fascia and about educating therapists in this profound and life-changing way of working.
Her preferred approach is often gentle, having found that the most meaningful changes frequently arise from working in this way. However, you will also explore a range of both direct and indirect techniques and approaches to deepen your understanding of the many different styles within the field of Fascial Bodywork and Myofascial Release. Louise’s teaching integrates mind, body, and spirit—encouraging you to recognise how interconnected these elements are and how essential each is for true wellbeing.
Course Overview
This comprehensive Diploma combines cutting-edge theory, guided practical work, and experiential learning in a supportive and engaging environment.
What you will learn:
You will gain the tools to offer full Fascial Bodywork sessions or seamlessly integrate these techniques into your existing massage or bodywork practice. Over time, many therapists find themselves naturally turning to fascial approaches more consistently, recognising their profound potential for creating meaningful change.
The Emotional Component
At the heart of this training is a commitment to compassionate communication through touch. Fascial Bodywork often enables clients to access not just tissue changes, but also emotional and energetic shifts. By working slowly, sensitively, and respectfully, we help the body feel safe enough to explore change—supporting long-term healing and deeper connection.
This approach honours the whole person, and can be particularly effective for clients who:
