Course overview
This blended learning Diploma combines practical classroom teaching with online study, giving you the flexibility to learn at home while developing your hands-on skills under supervision.
You will be taught by experienced tutors in a small, supportive group, with plenty of opportunities to practise, ask questions and build confidence. Throughout the programme, you will learn how to work with different clients effectively, deliver safe and professional treatments, and develop the skills needed to tailor massage to the individual in front of you.

Entry requirements
No formal qualifications are required.
A Level 3 Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology qualification is strongly recommended to be completed before starting the Massage Diploma, although it may also be completed alongside the course. It must be successfully completed before your final massage examination in order to qualify as a professional massage therapist.
This qualification is available separately through the School of Bodywork in both English and Polish.
Course Format
Practical Training
- 11 days of in-person practical training
- Online group tutorials
- Regular practice between sessions is expected
- 100% attendance is required. If unavoidable circumstances mean you miss a session, additional tuition sessions are available at an extra cost.
Theory Study
- Full access to our online learning platform
- Approximately 120 hours of guided home study covering both theoretical and practical elements
Business Training
Included within your Diploma is 12 months’ free access to our online business course, The Therapy Business Framework.
Completion of this programme is a requirement for gaining your Diploma and provides valuable guidance on creating a successful, ethical and sustainable therapy business.
Completing the Diploma
Following your final practical examination, you will have four months to complete your case studies and business course. You will also need to have completed 50 massage treatments outside of class and received 5 massages from different therapists in your area. Your Diploma will be awarded once all required elements have been successfully completed and marked.

Your assessment has been designed to prepare you for working confidently with real clients.
Practical Examination
- One 75-minute practical examination
Case Studies
- Three clients
- Four treatments per client
- To be completed within four months of the final examination
Massage Diary
- 50 self-reflective diary entries
- Five write-ups based on massages you receive from a variety of therapists outside the course (please budget separately for these treatments)
You must also have successfully completed your Level 3 Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology qualification before taking your final practical examination

This Diploma is fully accredited by ThinkTree, an internationally recognised professional association.
Alongside a Level 3 Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology qualification, successful completion of this course will enable you to obtain appropriate insurance and begin practising as a qualified and professional massage therapist.

- Full course fee: £1995 PLUS an exam fee of £125
