A space to share, support, and strengthen your practice.
Here at the School of Bodywork we strongly advocate peer support and keeping us all connected. It is very easy for us to become isolated in our work and this can cause us to, not only lose our passion for what we do, but also even the most basic of our skills can become a bit rusty! We are all guilty of slipping into bad habits!
So these sessions are an opportunity for therapists to come together, and maybe brush up on techniques with guidance from a tutor should it be needed, share any questions you have about your practice and give and receive treatment, in a fun and relaxed environment, getting to know other therapists and learn from and support each other.
The only pre-requisite is that you are already a Level 3 Massage Therapist at a minimum - everyone is welcome, from just qualified to having been in practice for years; anyone lacking confidence, to being already well-established; Holistic Massage Therapists, Sports Massage Therapists, Remedial Therapists, Myofascial Release Therapists... the more the merrier! You don't have to have trained with us before either - we are always happy to see new faces and in fact this is a great way to check out our School and what we are about if you have been wondering!
Whatever your situation, the School of Bodywork is here to help you move forward! We always encourage you to develop your own unique style, encouraging many hands-free methods when appropriate, with body mechanics and therapist longevity always at the heart of what we do.
So come along and join our community - it is invaluable to our development as therapists to connect in this way.
