On this two-day Thai Table Massage course you will discover a practice which brings benefits to both you and your clients.

We will cover different Thai massage techniques adapted for the table, with a focus on appropriate use for a range of musculoskeletal conditions, acute & chronic pain. You will learn dynamic stretches and mobilisations with an emphasis on breathwork and deep listening.

The mobilisations and stretches that I learnt have become an integral part of my deep tissue/sports massage and MFR treatments. You can integrate the techniques into your current practice or sequence them to provide a full Thai Massage.

Thai Table Massage

There are many benefits to Thai massage including an increase in flexibility & mobility and deeper relaxation, yet also an increase in energy for both giver & receiver. Clients often report a decrease in pain & stiffness as they experience greater movement range and complexity of motion throughout their body. As a therapist you will discover different ways to apply bodyweight and move your clients with little effort yet great effect.

These skills will open up your practice in a new and exciting direction. Your clients will love the benefits even with just a few techniques incorporated within your usual treatment. You will also feel confident to offer a full, flowing treatment on the table at the end of these two days.

The benefits to your practice will be incredible, allowing your treatments to really stand out from conventional massages. You will find yourself able to work longer with energy at the end of the day, with less pressure on your individual hand and finger joints which we strongly advocate here at the School. This is a lovely way to promote movement, both in yourself as a therapist and for your clients and taking your practice to another level!

Thai Table Massage

I learnt so much about the mechanics of the body, and it gave me a huge amount of confidence with mobilisations, opening up a whole new area of skills and techniques for treating clients.
