Our blended learning BCMA Approved Pregnancy Massage Diploma course is an absolute must for anyone wishing to work with pregnant women at all stages of pregnancy, including post-partum.
In this course you will also have access to our in depth theoretical components in our learning platform which you can work through at your own pace before the hands-on practical weekend.
This weekend will teach you practical techniques, such as positioning as well as encouraging deeper discussion into the theoretical knowledge you have gained from your pre-course material. You will also be able to work on a pregnant woman on the second day. We do not teach you a specific routine, we encourage you to adapt your existing skills to work for your pregnant clients.

As always, here at the School of Bodywork we take a holistic and inclusive view of everything that we teach, and Pregnancy Massage is no exception. Our course is very comprehensive and will give you the confidence you need to help women through this huge chapter of their lives - it is not simply about techniques and positioning.
We are warned that massaging Pregnant women in our core foundational massage training is a contraindication, but as with most contraindications, they are not always black and white!
There are huge benefits to receiving massage when pregnant, such as alleviating physical discomfort, relaxation and emotional support. However, there are many reasons why we strongly advise that you undertake specialist training in this area which include the theoretical aspects before massaging pregnant women.
