    • Emotional state: how to assess your client - not through what they say, but what they do - tone of voice, movements, eye contact - there are so many clues available to us at all times, do you know how to read this?
    •

Everyone has a different reaction to trauma, so you might notice any effects quickly, or a long time afterward). Find out how having boundaries, professionalism & ethics actually help clients to feel safe, help them to build trust in you, when perhaps they have not been able to trust others in their lives. This safety will allow their vulnerability to surface, as the vulnerability and emotion surfaces this will also alleviate symptoms. As we are now aware that emotion is stored within the body.
